This is Thriveal’s original IncubatorTM, but reworked after the pandemic to be even more impactful for firms owners and leaders ready for a new fresh start in setting up their firms for success. You will work for 10 hours per day with a final half day mapping/coaching session of takeaways and where to go next. Led by 25 year firm veterans, Jason M Blumer, CPA & Julie Shipp, you will be challenged to abandon archaic models of firm building, eliminate limiting beliefs that many owners carry, and learn foundational concepts that allow firms to grow successfully (and profitably)!

Debunking myths of firm growth
As firm entrepreneurs, we come to believe untruths about ourselves, our abilities, and how we grow firms. These come from our own insecurities, but also social media and other people around us influence us in wrong ways. Come hear what’s true about firm entrepreneurship. Bite-sized marketing & intimate selling
Marketing is a long game so there is patience to be developed to see fruit from the seeds that you plant. The other side of that coin is selling, where you come face to face with someone who wants you to convince them to pay you so that you can serve them. You may niche, focus, post on socials, and brand yourself; but whatever you do you will have to position & persuade those you are meant to serve.

Team structuring for growth
Every firm’s path to building their team will look different, so you have to avoid copying someone else’s team structure. This is the most creative part of firm entrepreneurship: knowing the moves to make with the roles and the people you invite on to your team. There are pitfalls to avoid for every firm and principles to adhere to if you are to navigate the path to larger team.

Leadership principles & practices
Leadership takes a lot of practice, and there are some basics you’ll need to know to build the firm you want to lead. Leadership is a practical process of self-sacrifice, self-discovery, and self-control. Anyone can learn to be a leader. We’ll teach the principles that you can take and apply through any team size that allows your firm to grow bigger than yourself.

Risk taking skills for firm entrepreneurs
Risk taking is a skill. You get better at it by doing it. And you must take risks or you can’t grow. We’ll teach models of risk taking and teach you how to employ the concept of ‘leverage’ in your growth. You’ll asses risks vs. rewards to assess whether you are making the right moves at the right time. Whether scaling, acquiring, or merging it all comes from taking risks. We’ll teach you how to do it.

Capturing your value with pricing
Pricing is your fuel to grow your firm. Are you looking to move away from time & billing in your firm? Then you need this session. We’ll teach how to price, create options, and the practicalities of pitching options. Pricing is strategic and forward looking (while billing looks at your past); we’ll show you how to make your price one of your strongest differentiators as you grow.

Firm business models that bring order
All that we do in firm building is about bringing chaos into order. If you let your inbox, or team, or client base tell you what to do then you will be crushed. We’ll teach our foundational Prototype Components Model for Growth (PCMG) and assess you (and the group) with our 100 question test to score you on the 10 main components that allow you to scale a services organization.
