You’ve heard it said before, “If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward” and in Thriveal, we exist to help firm entrepreneurs grow.  How do we grow?  Through education, community (can I get an “Amen” from my Thriveal peeps?), and through personal encouragement. Growth can come in many forms.  A firm doesn’t have to be seeking to get more clients or increase revenue just to grow.  Nope!  Growth can also mean building a company culture for your team, implementing a leadership team, building processes, etc. Even if you are happy with your bottom line and current clientele, there is always room for growth. 

BUT it seems like there is a bigger push currently to grow a firm financially.  The Thriveal community has their finger on the pulse of current trends and that’s why this year’s theme at Deeper Weekend is focused on firm growth.  Here’s what we will talk about:

Just like many things in our economy and culture, people are reconsidering their futures. That’s a major reason for our theme. As people consider their futures, they wonder if they should grow in larger leaps (through acquisitions), or take away the burden of leadership by partnering with others (through mergers), or just sell and get out of the game all together. Private Equity has entered our market and is buying up a lot of larger firms led by Baby Boomers (who are trying to exit to retire) and PE is giving them the ability to do so.
