About our guest: Firdaus Bhathena
Firdaus is a successful serial software entrepreneur who loves to solve real problems and make customers insanely happy. When he’s not focusing maniacally on a great user experience for Ziptr users, he can be found making sure that there’s enough high-octane coffee to fuel his team.
Prior to Ziptr, Firdaus was the founder and CEO at Relicore (acquired by Symantec), founder and VP Products at WebLine Communications (acquired by Cisco Systems), and the first employee at two other software startups (educational software, PC-based automation). He has been awarded several patents in software and distributed systems.
Firdaus believes strongly in education as a driver of personal and professional growth, and serves on the Board of Trustees for two schools in the Boston area, one of which is dedicated to providing a high-quality free education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. He has BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
