Nate and others from In the Trenches give me great hope for the future. Notice how Nate said “hire hot-shit people with a passion for building relationships.” He did NOT say “Hire really good technical people with the highest GPA you can afford who enjoy creating spreadsheets.” If practitioners can do that, they and the people they hire will transform the profession.
