For a son/daughter to openly express their gratitude for their parents' sacrifice is a sign of maturity, which is a positve character trait that everyone should practice more often. I'm a strong supporter of speaking your mind, which is hard to do, but at least people know where you're coming from; helping to strengthen any relationship between people...That's a great thing! As I read, I noticed a lot of respect and appreciation that came from this writing.
